Festivals And Celebrations

At the temple, people do the Poornaphala Samarpana pooja and offer coconuts to God to grant their wishes. A religious person performs the Poorna Phala Deeksha ritual at the temple. They make a wish in front of the statue of Anjaneya and then tie a coconut to the Poornaphala, the outer shell. The coconut is tied to the temple and the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mantra is said 108 times daily. Pradakshinas are the 41 times they walk around the temple. They do this twice a week for 16 days.

The people who do the ritual have to stick to a strict diet. On the 16th day, they take the coconut off the rope and give it as a gift to the god Hanuman. After that, they make sweets from the coconuts and give them to family friends and other followers. Anjaneya makes sure that the devotee’s wish comes true whether it is before or after the 16th day. A lot of people go to the temple on these days.
